About us
When The Composite Bonding Company opened in Manchester in 2020, our mission was to make people smile again. Since then, we have helped hundreds of patients to achieve their dream smiles. Lauren and the team pride themselves on excellent patient care! We provide an exceptional service at competitive prices and truly care about your journey.
Whilst we primarily focus on smile makeovers, we also provide aspects of general dentistry such as dental examinations (within scope), bespoke hygiene plans and cosmetic restorations. As we grow we hope to offer all aspects of dentistry in the future.
The Composite Bonding Company is led by Lauren, a dental hygienist and therapist (not a dentist) so if there is treatment out of Lauren’s scope of practice she will refer you to a member of the dental team who is best suited to your individual needs. This may be a house referral or to a local specialist.
What is a dental therapist?
Most people are familiar with the term dental hygienist, but a dental therapist is usually a less known term. The training is usually combined to train as both a hygienist and therapist. The therapist will possess additional skills to their dental hygienist qualification, enabling them to examine patients and provide care within their additional scope of practice.
Dental therapists have a more focused skill set compared to a dentist, but equally skilled in providing the treatments they offer. A dental therapist will work with dentists and specialists and refer you for treatment they cannot provide.

About Lauren
Lauren started her career in dentistry as a trainee dental nurse and receptionist in 2007, upon qualifying she was accepted on to the Dental hygiene and Dental Therapy diploma of higher education at Liverpool Dental School. Lauren passed, and started her career in 2012 as a qualified Dental Hygienist and Therapist.
Lauren’s passion was always to own her own business, and with the help of her dad in 2020, The Composite Bonding Company was Born.
Lauren is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental care Professional (DCP) – Registration number 173617
She has a combined Diploma in Dental hygiene and dental therapy DipHE from Liverpool Dental School, United Kingdom.
